Although we receive much of our funding
from Health and Social Services, we still raise significant sums of money
ourselves, and are always in need of donations and voluntary support in
a variety of forms.
Donations
Every pound we receive really does make a difference, and making a financial
donation is the quickest and most effective way to help us. In this respect,
we are pleased to be able to offer a new facility for making donations
online.
If you select here, you will
be automatically directed to the Mind in Croydon donation page,
which is administered by a charitable fundraising organisation.
You can then make a swift and secure payment, and you can be reassured
that we will receive 100% of the donation. You can choose how
much you donate depending on your needs and lifestyle. For example
you can make one-off credit card donations or register and set
up a standing order to make regular donations.
If you require more information about the Give
Now organisation, and making secure payments online,
refer to our FAQs
section.
Alternatively, cheques can be sent to us by
post. Cheques should be made payable to Mind in Croydon Ltd and
sent to 26 Pampisford Road, Purley, Surrey, CR8 2NE. If you would
like to pay a regular amount by standing order, you can download
a form here. Please complete this form and send it to
Mind in Croydon. We also have Gift Aid donation forms available
if you wish to make your gift of even greater benefit to Mind
in Croydon.
Donating furniture, clothing and household
goods
We are always looking for good-quality items to sell in our fund-raising
shops, and larger items of furniture and household goods are used
by our Furniture Service
to help our clients set up in new homes within the community.
Donations of Furniture and Household Goods for the furniture
service
Donations of clothing and bric-a-brac to be sold in
one of our shops
Volunteer to help
us
Many of our projects use volunteers and we are managed by a Board
of Directors who are also volunteers. Perhaps you could help us
with administration, or provide support for those who call our
Helpline? Do you have professional skills which could used to
help us in our counselling and training services? If you feel
you have some time or skill that you would like to offer, simply
download a volunteer
application form. If you are interested in becoming
a volunteer counsellor please click
here to download the relevant form.
If you are interested in volunteering to join
the Counselling Services you will
find more specific information in that section.
