Information on mental health services in Croydon
The work of Mind in Croydon was celebrated on 19 June when 1,000 people attended the Charity Awards 2008 dinner. Mind in Croydon were Highly Commended in the Disability category www.charityawards.co.uk where their work to help parents with mental health problems was recognised for its innovative and holistic approach.
Mind in Croydon is also one of the organisations chosen to speak at a seminar resulting from the Awards entitled 'Charity Effectiveness - key issues and stories from the front line' which will be held at the Cass Business School on 1 July www.charityawards.co.uk.
The Charity Awards is the pre-eminent awards programme in the UK's vibrant and diverse voluntary sector. The Awards shine a spotlight on exceptional performance in the leadership and management of charities, helping to spread best practice and draw attention to the breadth of talent, commitment and expertise that exists within UK charities.
