Mind in Croydon are now providing Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) in Croydon. A change to the Mental Health Act means that people under section now have a statutory right to an advocate who can speak privately to them and is allowed access to all medical records. The advocate can help you understand your rights under the Act, the treatment you are receiving and the reason for that treatment.
