Information on mental health services in Croydon
We still have spaces on our sailing trips this year.
Mind in Croydon are working in partnership with Rona Sailing Project (previously the London Sailing Project) to provide sailing opportunities for people with mental health problems.
On each trip everybody on board will be expected to take as full a part in the sailing and domestic tasks as they are able, including cooking, washing up, steering, handling the sails, and if you want to, the navigation.
Our aim is that everybody will come back feeling that they have had a fun holiday, but also that you have been challenged and have achieved something worthwhile. The trips are suitable for adventurous beginners. You don’t need to be an athlete, but you do need to be able to move safely around the boat, and get on and off in order to get ashore.
Dates are as follows:
16th - 18th May (2 nights) £120
3rd - 5th June (2 nights) £120
18th - 23rd Sept (5 nights) £255
Please note the long trip (September) is only suitable for those who have sailed with us before.
