Information on mental health services in Croydon
A concert called “The Son of Man” is being given on the 19th and 20th April from 7.30pm.
The performance will be given in the Church of St. John the Baptist, Dale Road, Purley, off the Godstone Road. It is an Oratorio about the final days of Christ's life on earth, the music was written by David Palmer who taught music at Thomas Moore School.
The performances are being dedicated to Ann Hughes' late husband Peter Hughes. Ann has worked for Mind in Croydon for 16 years and Peter performed in this concert himself several times before he became too ill.
Ann has nominated Mind in Croydon as the charity she would like the money raised to go to and tickets are only £8.00 (£5.00 children 15 and under).
