Information on mental health services in Croydon
In March we were delighted to learn that once again we had achieved the prestigious Investors in People Award. The assessor stated that:
“Mind in Croydon continues to demonstrate a strong performance against the requirements of the core Investors in People Standard.
It was a pleasure to interview such positive and committed staff and hear about the services they are providing. The immediately friendly welcome of the staff gives a favourable impression of the organisation. There is a strongly inclusive culture, a philosophy of good people management and a real commitment to ensuring that all staff feel that their contribution is appreciated. Other strengths in the organisation include strong leadership, widely held values, an open approach to information, good communications in a period of considerable change, very approachable management, well focused learning and development activities and excellent personal coaching and mentoring. The importance of responding positively to challenges whilst holding onto the core qualities and values has been fully explained. Everyone interviewed spoke about how much they enjoy working for Mind and feel that they have an important role in helping it to be successful and ensuring the clients are well supported. They speak of an excellent employer, good communications and supportive colleagues.”
