Information on mental health services in Croydon
As you may have seen in the Croydon Advertiser Active Minds are marking World Mental Health Day by inviting a premier league footballer along to our match on Wednesday and we are very pleased to confirm that at least one player has now confirmed! Although he will be illegible to play for our team he will however be happy to have photos taken with him as well as a question and answer session before kick-off.
The match is THIS WEDNESDAY 9th OCTOBER and we would really appreciate it if you or any volunteers, friends or family were able to come down and support our team for the match. The Croydon Advertiser are sending down a photographer and a reporter to cover the game so please spread the word about the event as it would be great to get as many people as possible to show up on the day!
It will take place at The Dome within The Crystal Palace National Sports Centre, Ledrington Rd, London SE19 2BB.
(Crystal Palace and Penge West are the closest train stations to the venue)
Please make a note of the mobile numbers below should you get lost on the day (its quite a big venue!)
A huge thanks goes to Tim Matthias and Paul Richards for organising this!
