MiC at the Mental Health Capacity Act Conference

Members of the Mind in Croydon staff attended the Mental Health Capacity Act Conference at Fairfield Halls on the 16th October.

This free event was to help understand how the Mental Capacity Act applies to the service users and general public at their home, care centre and so on. It also provided an opportunity to hear the public views about the MCA legislation that is being proposed to provide legal safeguards where a person’s care involves restrictions that may deprive them of their liberty.

A copy of the act can be accessed by clicking here.
