Information on mental health services in Croydon
Megan Burrage is doing a tandem skydive to fundraise for Mind in Croydon.
In her own words:"We all suffer with anxiety from time to time, but for some people it impacts their everyday and can be a real challenge to overcome. Like others I have experienced living with anxiety throughout the years. Until recently… I have been able to have control over my anxiety rather then allow it to have control over me and can now live a happy and fulfilling life and I want to help others in their journey to do so also.???? Having a mental health condition is nothing to be ashamed of but our minds can be our own worst enemies and can make you feel like you're battling it alone, we're not! I am completing a charity skydive for MIND because I personally and so many others close to me have suffered a mental health illness. A mental health illness refers to a variety of disorders that affect your mood, thinking and behaviour. Conditions such as depression, anxiety and eating or addictive disorders. Please help me to help others and join me in raising awareness and funds for a great cause. Every donation is so greatly appreciated."
