Information on mental health services in Croydon
Mind in Croydon was very pleased to support Happy Heads. The event was created to empower educate and encourage those in recovery, family members of people in recovery and for anyone else interested on knowing more about mental health. The event was designed around The balance ball (7 areas of life to keep a well-balanced mind body and spirit). There were live artists and a creative corner for guests, recovery stories and singing/dancing and drama. Co-directors are Sandeep Saib and Ruth Moragas. Both of whom are Time to Change champions. Their vision is to continue events, but also become an organisation that goes into schools and work places etc with creative workshops to help people release difficult emotions in a safe enjoyable way.
