Twelve months ago I could never of seen myself returning to work. I am now in a position where I have been offered paid employment and look forward to once again being independent.
Mind in Croydon’s Charity Shops
Our shops are an invaluable source of fundraising.
We have a Mind in Croydon Shop on Lower Addiscombe Road. This shop raises money for the charity by selling donated items of bric-a-brac, small items of furniture and clothing.
The shop relies on donations from the general public, and we welcome items such as small items of household furniture, books, CDs, DVDs, kitchenware, electrical items in good working order, clothing & bric-a-brac. These goods are then sorted within our premises for possible sale within the shop. All items need to be of good quality, and the majority of clothing and books are recycled if not suitable for resale.
The shop is open between 10am and 5pm Monday to Saturday and between 10am and 4pm on Sundays. Enquiries can be made by calling 020 8662 9383 and we have an answering machine available for messages outside of these working hours.
If you are interested in working as a volunteer at our charity shop, you can download an application form:
