Friends in Need – Need You!
Depression and Anxiety in Croydon:
Volunteers Needed!
Do you have your own lived experience of depression and anxiety or know someone close to you who has?
If so you’ll understand just how isolating and lonely it can feel; some days just leaving the house can seem like climbing a mountain.
Friends in Need is on the lookout for two new volunteers to help grow its valuable and supportive social network.
- Can you give up to 4 hours of your time each week to help us behind the scenes as well as to be on hand to help people feel welcome at our regular meet-ups?
- Are you a natural communicator who is skilled at using social media and databases?
- Can you be available during weekends (late morning/early afternoon) or in the evening during the week?
If so, please get in touch. We are flexible and there are a range of options available where you could help.
This is a fantastic opportunity to explore Croydon, meet some wonderful people and gain your own confidence, strength, and understanding of social connections in improving wellbeing.
