Workshop – Managing Mental Health as a Carer
Are you caring for a disabled relative or close family member ? Do you have an interest in the welfare of others? Manju Shahul-Hameed Foundation for Mental Health is organising a FREE interactive workshop called ‘Managing Mental Health as a Carer’.
The workshop is led and sponsored by Dr V Sunil Babu, BSc MBBS FRCPsych DPM, Consultant Psychiatrist, Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
The workshop takes place at Mind in Croydon, Fairfield House, 10 Altyre Road, East Croydon, Surrey, CR0 5LA on Monday 11th December at 2pm with a presentation and Q&A session.

We are looking for Volunteer Counsellors!
We are currently recruiting for volunteer counsellors in the second year of Diploma or equivalent, qualified and looking for hours towards accreditation or simply wanting to volunteer with us. These vacancies are to see clients in the evening only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Supervision will be provided for an hour and a half per fortnight on another evening to the one they see clients, or in the daytime.

Application forms must be received by Monday 20th November 2017 with interviews taking place on Monday 27th November 2017 and Tuesday 28th November 2017.
