Mind Launches New Partnership to Strengthen Mental Health Support Across Surrey

The partnership aims to increase access to mental health services, reduce stigma, and develop opportunities that respond to the needs of local communities across Surrey. Working across the health, public, voluntary, community, and social enterprise sectors, the partnership will focus on understanding local priorities, addressing inequalities, and developing sustainable approaches to improving mental health outcomes.
The local Minds of West Sussex and Brighton & Hove share the Surrey and Sussex Integrated Care System footprint and in response to this new clustering will lead the development of this work. Key support will be from neighbouring local Minds in South West London; Mind in Croydon, Mind in Kingston and Richmond Borough Mind who form https://www.southwestlondonmind.org.uk/ This collaborative model enables the partnership to draw on a broad range of experience while maintaining a strong focus on local delivery and community engagement.
The local Minds in South West London are integral stakeholders in the work and will work closely to ensure that potential service users that live either side of the London/Surrey border get the right services at the right time to meet their needs.
Together, we are stronger.
